Arkema has consolidated its Rilsan powder product range with new grades specifically adapted to the coating of outdoor furniture, so as to respond to stricter requirements in coastal areas, or in regions with extreme weather conditions. Arkema has developed a dark grey grade, T gris 9102 MAC (RAL 7021), and at the beginning of 2010 will offer a new aluminium type color grade. These Rilsan grades designed for outdoor applications offer UV resistance, as well as impact and abrasion resistance, which ultimately extend the lifetime of the furniture. While offering protection to metallic surfaces in different kinds of environments, Rilsan provides resistance to most cleaning agents, and imparts an attractive and smooth surface aspect, which is also warm to the touch.
